Lionheart Capital purchased the Miami Heart Institute as an 1,000,000 sq. ft. functioning hospital in 2012. This waterfront property, situated on 7.5 acres of land, was successfully rezoned for residential use.
Through adaptive reuse, it was later reimagined by Master Italian architect Piero Lissoni and branded The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach. The sell out was in an excess of $550 million.
